In observance of Mazingira Day, we engaged in a tree planting initiative alongside esteemed partners, including the Kenya Forest Service, National Environment Management Authority (NEMA), UNESCO, Smachs Foundation, and other dedicated NGOs. This event reflects our unwavering commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable development.
The initiative convened community members and organizations focused on addressing climate change, restoring ecosystems, and enhancing biodiversity. Through our collective efforts in planting trees, we aim to strengthen our natural environment and foster a culture of sustainability within our communities.
This initiative is closely aligned with Uplift Northern Kenya Organization’s mission to empower vulnerable populations and promote climate resilience. Our ongoing programs advocate for environmentally friendly practices that contribute to a sustainable future.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all participants and partners for their invaluable contributions to today’s event. Together, we are advancing meaningful progress toward a healthier planet for generations to come.
